Payments for universities to be cut for two months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of higher and secondary special education and Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan introduced changes to instruction on order of assigning and payment of stipends to students of higher educational institutions.

From 1 September, stipends for July and August for students, who are on their last year and study on contract, will be excluded from payment for education.

Norma.uz said that if students pays contract sum in parts, the stipend will not be paid for last educational semester.
