Over 93% of Women in Uzbekistan Use the Internet — Data from National Statistics Committee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, 93.1% of women use the internet.

According to the household sample survey conducted by the National Statistics Committee, from January to August 2025, the share of women using the internet reached 93.1%, while among men this figure was 95.3%.

The level of digital activity among women in the country continues to grow steadily. In 2021, 72.6% of women used the internet, increasing to 81% in 2022, 87.3% in 2023, and 92.4% in 2024.

A similar trend is observed among men, whose share rose from 80.6% in 2021 to 95.3% in 2025.

These increases reflect Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to improve digital literacy and expand internet access, including in rural and remote areas.
