Over 49% of population of Uzbekistan are women

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 October 2020, the resident population of Uzbekistan made up 34.38 million people.

Of these, the number of women was 17.09 million people and 49.7% of the total population of the country.

In turn, the number of men amounted to 17.29 million people and 50.3% of the total population of the country.
