Over 24,300 Passenger Cars Imported into Uzbekistan in First Half of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 24,355 passenger cars worth a total of US$422.1 million in January–June 2025.

Electric vehicles accounted for a significant share of the imports — 14,356 units — reflecting the sustained public interest in environmentally friendly modes of transport.

The main supplier of passenger cars to Uzbekistan during this period was the People’s Republic of China, which exported 21,399 vehicles.

The Republic of Korea supplied 2,032 units, followed by India with 168, and Japan and the United States with 145 each. An additional 466 vehicles were imported from other countries.
