OSCE/ODIHR mission receives information on election campaign of UzLiDeP

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) held a meeting with officials of the Ferghana regional Council of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP).

The members of the mission familiarized with activities of the UzLiDeP in the region, organization of election campaign, agitation campaign, etc.

It was noted that 30% quota for women, allocated in line with the legislation, at nomination of candidates was observed.

At the meeting, the sides considered election legislation, financing of pre-election campaign, use of mass media, placement of promotions, meetings with the voters and other issues.
