Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent is set to host the first project outside Russia to provide Russian government services in the format of a multifunctional centre (MFC).
The service centre will operate at the Russky Dom and will primarily serve Russian citizens living abroad.
Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko announced preparations for the project at the Digital Solutions forum.
According to him, Russian citizens in Tashkent will be able to obtain the most in-demand government services. These will include applying for SNILS and an electronic signature.
“Soon, it will be possible to receive Russian government services abroad in the MFC format.
The first such project is being prepared for launch in Uzbekistan,” Dmitry Grigorenko said.
A similar centre is also planned to open in Kazakhstan in the coming months, the Russian deputy prime minister’s office told journalists.
In the future, foreign citizens will also be able to use the services provided by such centres.
