Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) expanded geography of GPRS and CAMEL roaming.

From July 2010, the agreement on rendering GPRS roaming services was signed with Vox Mobile (Luxembourg). Besides, CAMEL roaming service is now available in networks of partners – Orange (Austria), Eagle Mobile (Albania) and KPN (Netherlands).

Unitel technical director Anton Golikov commented: “Today international roaming is available in networks of 359 operators in 153 countries. This means that Uzbekistan citizens are in touch in any part of the world.”

CAMEL roaming allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
