New Year celebrations start in Uzbek capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New Year celebrations started in the capital of Uzbekistan on 28 December 2014. They will last till 8 January 2015.

New Year celebrations are held at Mustaqillik square (Independence Square), where the main New Year tree was installed.

This year New Year events are also held at Hadra square near Tashkent Circus, Algorithm district near Roison Electronics and Yunusabad-12 and other places.

Attractions and playing machines were installed at the celebration sights. There are also trade points, where people can buy toys and gifts, as well as sweets. The artists are performing at the stages.
