Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — New shipments of Uzbek grapes and melons have arrived in the United Kingdom as part of efforts to expand agricultural product supplies to the British market. The Dunyo news agency reported this.

The shipments were organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London. British company Capital Foodservice is importing Kelin barmoq grapes, as well as Torpeda, Kokcha and Obi novvot melons.

The agricultural products are being delivered to the United Kingdom on Uzbekistan Airways flights. The shipments are planned to continue until the end of the current season.

The cooperation is aimed at increasing British consumers’ interest in Uzbek fruits and vegetables and strengthening the position of Uzbekistan’s agricultural products in the UK market.
