New freight vehicles are exempt from paying the recycling fee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- By Presidential Decree, an addition was made to the Decree “On priority measures to reform the waste management system.”

Accordingly, until 1 January  2024, when importing new cargo vehicles (garbage trucks and dump trucks) (HS code 8704 32 9209), the customs duty rate is set at 5 percent, and they are exempt from paying the recycling fee.
