Namangan Processing Plant Targets $2 Million Export Plan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fruit and vegetable processing enterprise in the Yangikurgan district of Uzbekistan's Namangan region plans to export US$2 million worth of products during the current season, according to the press service of the Yangikurgan district khokimiyat.
The governor of Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, inspected the production capabilities of enterprises specializing in fruit processing in the Bunyodkor small industrial zone.
During the visit, the regional governor visited LLC Abbasov Abdulatif Hakimkhanovich to inspect the company's production capacity, raw material supply, and foreign market distribution plans.
The project is valued at 1.5 billion soums and has created 10 new jobs.
The company specializes in processing produce and preparing it using modern technology, with an emphasis on expanding deliveries to foreign markets.
Under its operational plans, the enterprise intends to bring its export volume to US$2 million during the current season.
Following the visit, the regional governor instructed responsible officials to implement measures to expand the enterprise's activities, increase the efficiency of its production capacity, and boost export volumes.
