Munisakhon Alijonova was deported from Türkiye to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 21 February, 23-year-old Munisakhon Alijonova, who was wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan on charges of human trafficking, was deported from Türkiye to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

Known as "Monya", the woman was put on the wanted list in 2023. She was detained in Istanbul on 13 February during a joint operation by law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

Citizens who have become victims of the actions of this woman are asked to contact the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
