Moderate earthquake hits Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush region (Afghanistan) was registered in Tashkent city at 19:02 on Thursday, 12 July 2012.

The earthquake magnitude in capital city of Uzbekistan was 3 points, Tashkent Seismic Station said.

The magnitude of earthquake at the epicenter, which is located 520 kilometers from Tashkent to the South-Eastern direction at Afghanistan territory, was 5.8 points.
