Mirziyoyev presents state awards to leading entrepreneurs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented state awards to a group of entrepreneurs who have contributed to the country's development, increased export potential and strengthened the national economy. The awards ceremony was held on 18 August, Entrepreneurs' Day.

The awards were presented to entrepreneurs who have helped attract investment, produce import-substituting goods, develop modern services, create new jobs and generate new sources of income for the population.

Entrepreneurs demonstrating leading practices in ensuring sustainable economic development, improving the business environment, introducing innovative technologies and increasing production and export potential also received the “Faol tadbirkor” badge.

At the ceremony, Mirziyoyev congratulated participants on Entrepreneurs' Day. He highlighted the achievements of entrepreneurs who make use of the opportunities created, take initiative and apply their knowledge and experience across various areas of the economy.

According to data presented at the event, entrepreneurs are implementing new investment projects, expanding production of export-oriented and import-substituting goods, developing modern services and creating new jobs and sources of income for the population.

The event also highlighted an increase in the number of entrepreneurs developing leading practices and traditions in their respective fields, introducing innovative technologies and expanding their businesses through new and creative ideas.

The statement noted that the annual presentation of state awards to leading entrepreneurs had become a tradition initiated by the president. This year, particular attention in selecting candidates was given to entrepreneurs achieving concrete results in increasing production and exports, attracting investment, creating employment and improving people's well-being, as well as those actively participating in public life.

The head of state personally presented the awards to the recipients. The award winners thanked the president for his support and recognition of their work.

Representatives of state and public organizations, entrepreneurs and members of the public attended the ceremony.
