Madinabonu Mannopova is winner of the tournament in South Korea
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Taekwondo competitions G2 “Chuncheon Open” started in the city of Chuncheon, South Korea. Four athletes from Uzbekistan are taking part in the event.
On the first day, 9 July, in the weight category 49 kg, our athlete Madinabona Mannopova won a bronze medal. She successfully passed two stages of the tournament, defeating her rivals, but in the semifinals she lost to a representative from China. She won the bronze medal and received 72 rating points for Tokyo Olympic Games.
On 10 July, Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg), Nikita Rafalovich (-74 kg) and Shokhrukh Razhabov (+87 kg) will start their battles.
