Machinery enterprises increase output by 5% in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Machinery enterprises of Uzbekistan produced goods for 7.404 trillion soums in January-June 2015, which increased by 4.9% year-on-year.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks rose by 27.6% in the reporting period, special automobiles – 10.3%, lead-acid batteries for starting piston engines - 9,4%.

Production of such agricultural machinery products as drills rose by 3.1 times, mowers - 1.9 times, combine harvesters - by 12.4%, the committee said.
