Kyrgyzstani dies in explosion at Uzbek medical center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – A woman, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, died in the result of the explosion of a gas-air mixture in Shakhrikhan district of the Andijan region, the Kyrgyz Embassy said in 

On 11 February, the explosion took place in the Ziteria private medical and diagnostic center, as a result of which a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic R.N., born in 1966, died.

According to local authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, there are dead and injured as a result of the explosion.

The body of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic was delivered to Kyrgyzstan by close relatives. 

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 257 (violation of labor protection rules) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A preliminary investigation is underway. The issue is under the control of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
