Khayrullo Bozorov Discusses Urban Planning with China's CUCDRI

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Khokim of the Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held an official meeting with a delegation from the Chinese consulting company China Urban Construction Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CUCDRI), led by Director Xue Yuwei. The focus of the parties was on launching promising joint projects in the fields of architecture, urban planning, the creation of modern infrastructure, and comprehensive territorial development of the region.

The head of the region emphasized that large-scale programs to modernize the construction sector are currently being implemented in Uzbekistan, and specifically in the Ferghana Valley. The regional leader expressed confidence that attracting leading Chinese experience will enable the successful implementation of the outlined plans.

In turn, Xue Yuwei noted that the company's specialists are currently analyzing the economic, construction, and investment potential of the Ferghana Region in detail. The head of the foreign delegation confirmed a high level of interest in participating in major projects to update the urban environment.

As part of the exchange of views, the parties reviewed the mechanisms for the practical implementation of the planned initiatives in detail. The khokim of the region drew special attention to the need to quickly assign responsible executors from both sides, which will allow them to proceed to the first stage of joint work without delay.

Following the negotiations, a mutual agreement was recorded on building a long-term partnership and the step-by-step implementation of all agreed urban planning projects.
