Uzbekistan, AD Ports Group Advance Digital Trade Plans

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev held talks with Farooq Al Zeyar, board member and chairman of the logistics cluster of AD Ports Group, who is visiting Tashkent for the Tashkent International Investment Forum TIIF 2026.

The sides discussed practical steps to develop cooperation in digital trade and logistics.

Particular attention was given to the launch of the UzTrade platform and the integration of trade, customs, transport, and tax processes.

The discussions also covered the development of dry ports, logistics hubs, multimodal transport corridors, and strengthening the Navoi logistics direction.

It was noted that such initiatives are of strategic importance for Uzbekistan, contributing to lower logistics costs, improved transparency of cargo flows, and strengthening the country’s role as a regional trade and logistics hub.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to conduct a detailed assessment of the project and prepare a roadmap for further cooperation.
