Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Eight female citizens of Uzbekistan, who were forced into prostitution, have been released in the village of Zhibek-Zholy of South Kazakhstan Region (SKR), Interfax-Kazakhstan news agency reported quoting the SKR prosecutor’s office has reported.

The press service’s press release circulated today said that "the den, where eight women were locked up", had been uncovered during a inspection by prosecutors and an operation to eliminate it had been carried out jointly with policemen.

The released citizens of Uzbekistan will be kept in a reception centre until a trial, at which they will testify.
