Jizzakh district to be renamed in honor of Sharaf Rashidov

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted a decision on renaming Jizzakh district of Jizzakh region in honour of Sharaf Rashidov.

According to the Legislative Chamber, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan introduced an issue on renaming Jizzakh district of Jizzakh region in honour of Sharaf Rashidov to the parliament.

After the discussion, MPs of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted the decision on renaming Jizzakh district of Jizzakh region in honour of Sharaf Rashidov.

The document will be directed to Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for approval.
