Istomin, Elgin wins Kremlin Cup title in double’s tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin and Russian Mikhail Elgin won the doubles at Bank of Moscow Kremlin Cup in Moscow, Russia.

In final match, Istomin and Elgin defeated Ken and Neal Skupski of Great Britain with the score of 6/2, 1/6, 14/12.

After the match Denis Istomin said: “We’ve being playing together for two years and we are happy with our first win.”

Istomin added: “We’ve already got to semifinals before, and in the first final we managed to win. It means a lot for us, especially if it happened in Moscow, Russia.”.
