Islam Karimov congratulates President of Greece

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has congratulated President of the Hellenic Republic Karolos Papoulias on the national holiday in that country – Independence Day.

Greece marks its independence day on 25 March and they pay tribute to heroes of Revolution in 1821-1829.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between two states made up US$65.4 million against US$86.1 million in 2010.
