Internet user base in Uzbekistan up 5% in April-June

The number of Internet users in Uzbekistan rose 5% to 1.835 million people in April-June, the press office of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan said Friday.

Internet penetration in Uzbekistan in April-June was at 0.069%, compared with 0.065% in January-March.

In April-June, 693 companies provided Internet access services in the country.
