Head of EU delegation visits Bukhara
Within the event, Sterk met with the governor of Bukhara Valijon Urunov. The sides discussed issues of expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation between EU and Uzbekistan, including in Bukhara region, the press service of the EU delegation in Uzbekistan said.
Ambassador Yuri Sterk visited plant of the German company Knauf and met with its director Dmitry Deripalko. Sterk and Deripalko considered activities of the company in Uzbekistan. Ambassador also familiarized with production shops of Knauf.
Yuri Sterk also visited a habitation complex, which was constructed for graduates of Mercy House in Bukhara region.
Sterk visited a roundtable with the coordinators of TEMPUS programme from various regions of Uzbekistan and participated in the opening ceremony of the second European Cinema Festival in Bukhara.
