Group D: Costa Rica and Uruguay qualify to play-offs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Costa Rica and Uruguay advanced to play-offs of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil from Group D.

In the last match, Costa Rica played a goalless draw with England. Costa Rica topped the group with seven points. It is worth to mention that before tournament Costa Rica was considered as outsider of the group.

In the second match, Uruguay outplayed Italy. The match ended with the score 1-1. Diego Godin netted only goal of the match. Uruguay is second in the group with six points.
