Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The prestigious Boxing World Cup competitions have concluded in the Chinese city of Guiyang. The national team of Uzbekistan demonstrated a high level of preparation at the tournament, winning a total of 12 medals of various denominations.
In the men's standings, the Uzbekistan team traditionally confirmed its status as a leader in world boxing. The men's team took first place in the final protocol, winning three gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Second place in the men's rankings was claimed by the team from Kazakhstan, which secured three gold and three bronze medals. The French team rounded out the top three.

Silver medals were won by Asilbek Jalilov (up to 50 kg), Farzona Fozilova (up to 48 kg), and Oltinoy Sotimboeva (in the category over 80 kg).
