Govn’t sets order of attribution of enterprises to city-forming companies
The document determines order of attribution of enterprises to city-forming and similar companies. The regulation is applied to legal entities, including enterprises, in which state holds shares.
According to regulation, city-forming companies can meet following criteria:
- Number of employees, taking into account their family members, makes up at least half of the population, living in the area;
- Number of employees makes up at least three thousand people;
- The company ensures the defense and security of the state;
- The company is a natural monopoly.
The enterprises, attributed to city-forming companies, will be included to the registrar of city-forming and similar companies.
The State Committee of Uzbekistan on privatization, demonopolization and development of competition will run the registrar.
