French envoy, Uzbekneftegaz chiefs discuss ties in energy sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls held a meeting with the chairperson of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company Shokir Fayzullaev on 4 November 2013 to discuss current state and perspectives of development of bilateral relations in oil and gas sector.

During the meeting, the sides underlined high level of partnership between Uzbekneftegaz and French companies, which work in Uzbekistan such as CGG, Axens, Schlumberger and Technip.

According to the Embassy of France in Tashkent, the sides underlined their intention to strengthen French-Uzbek cooperation in energy sector.
