Five-Star Hadith Hotel Opens Near Imam Bukhari Complex
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new five-star Hadith Hotel has opened in Samarkand Region. Located within the Imam Bukhari complex, the hotel is primarily designed to accommodate local and foreign pilgrims.
The opening ceremony was attended by Uzbekistan Tourism Committee Chairman Abdulaziz Akkulov, Samarkand Region Governor Adiz Boboev, Indonesia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs Muhammad Irfan Yusuf, the ambassadors of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, investors, tourism industry representatives and partner organizations.
The four-story Hadith Hotel has 120 rooms with a total capacity of 240 guests. Its services are organized in accordance with international hotel standards, complemented by national hospitality traditions and codes of conduct appropriate to the hotel’s location near a sacred site.
The Imam Bukhari complex is considered one of the important pilgrimage centers for Muslims from Uzbekistan and other countries. As part of its development, the complex is being expanded and modern infrastructure is being created at the initiative of the country’s president. A mosque capable of accommodating up to 10,000 worshippers at a time has been built there.
At the same time, the flow of pilgrims from Indonesia is growing, creating additional demand for international-standard hotel infrastructure in the area around the complex.
The opening of Hadith Hotel is expected to expand accommodation options for visitors to the complex while contributing to the development of tourism services in Samarkand Region. The new facility will also create jobs and additional opportunities for local entrepreneurs, farmers and artisans.
The project represents another area of Uzbekistan-Indonesia cooperation in tourism and strengthens the region’s potential as a pilgrimage destination.
