FIFA prohibits Bunyodkor from registering new players

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided to prohibit the Bunyodkor club from registering new players both at the international and national levels.

This decision was made in connection with a long-standing dispute between the club and its former players Rivaldo and Denilson.

The club is obliged to pay them an amount of almost 10 million euros. In case of failure to comply with the obligations, FIFA’s next step may be to deduct the points the team scored in the championship.
