Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan won two medals in judo at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, with Sita Kadamboeva claiming gold in the women’s 52kg category and Samariddin Kuchkorov taking bronze in the men’s 60kg division.
Kadamboeva reached the final, where she defeated a representative of South Korea to win the Asian Games title and secure a gold medal for Uzbekistan.
Kuchkorov earned another medal for the Uzbek delegation in the men’s 60kg category. In the bronze-medal bout, he defeated Tajikistan’s Loik Qudbidinov to finish third in the competition.
As a result, Uzbekistan’s judo team added one gold and one bronze medal to the country’s medal tally in these weight categories.
