Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov has met with Chinese investor Wu Hongqiang, head of the foreign-invested enterprise Yong Xin Ceramics LLC, to discuss expanding ceramic production. The talks were held at the Ferghana Expo International Exhibition Centre in the city of Ferghana.
The sides discussed expanding the company's operations, improving its efficiency and implementing new mutually beneficial projects.
The Chinese-invested enterprise is located in the Kokand Free Economic Zone in Uchkuprik District. It specialises in manufacturing ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles and began operations in 2025.
During the meeting, the investor noted that the favourable conditions established in Uzbekistan and the support provided by the government were helping the enterprise develop its production processes.
Following the talks, the sides exchanged views on the further development of the project and agreed on measures to continue their cooperation.
