Ferghana Region Attracts Chinese Investment in Hong Kong

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Ferghana region took part in an Uzbek-Chinese economic forum held in Hong Kong during a visit by a government delegation of Uzbekistan to China, according to official reports.

The event served as a platform to discuss new investment projects and expand trade and economic cooperation between regions.

During the forum, Deputy Hokim of Ferghana region Nuriddin Mamadjanov held a series of talks with representatives of several major Chinese companies, including Runking-Motors, Global Village Service Center Limited, Xiamen Taoshayun Technology, BaWang International Group, and Liftcore Elevator Co., Ltd. The discussions focused on opportunities for implementing joint projects across various sectors of the economy.

Following the meetings, preliminary agreements were reached on launching investment initiatives in Ferghana region. The planned projects cover automotive manufacturing, construction, production of household chemicals, and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies.

Special attention during the forum was also given to presenting the region’s export potential.

At the exhibition, products from Quva Agrostar were showcased alongside examples of traditional national handicrafts, reflecting the cultural and economic potential of Ferghana region.
