Federation Council ratifies SCO agreement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Russia’s Federation Council ratified agreement of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on mutual assistance at liquidation of emergency situations.

In line with the document, the SCO countries will help each other to liquidate emergency situations. The countries will also simplify transit of rescuers and equipment their territories.

The SCO unites Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan are observers.
