Fares for public transport in Tashkent increases by 14.28%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Association Toshshahartranshizmat (Tashkent city Transport Service) increased fares for public transport in Tashkent from 2 April 2013.

The Association said that from 2 April 2013 the fares in public transport grew by 14.28% from 700 soums to 800 soums.

New tariffs are set for city buses, trams and underground, as well as suburban buses within the city, the Association said.

Toshshahartranshizmat also increased prices for monthly travel cards. The prices of cards varies between 40,000 soums to 70,000 soums.
