Elderly couple died due to carbon monoxide poisoning

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 3 March, a fatal tragedy occurred in Yangiyul district of Tashkent region, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.

An elderly man and his wife were found dead in their home. According to preliminary information, they died from carbon monoxide poisoning followed by cerebral and pulmonary edema.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating this incident.
