Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Court of Appeal decided to change the sentence of 8 defendants A. Temirkhanov, N. Sultamuratov, B. Seitniyazov, P. Nurniyazov, B. Kadirbergenov, K. Seitimov to restriction of freedom in a criminal case related to with the events of Karakalpakstan.

The punishment assigned to the defendant D. Tadzhimuratov has not changed.

The sentences of 6 defendants were also commuted.

The court rejected the protest of the prosecutor's office against 4 people.
