EC finances new project in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A new project “Strengthening capacity of transport and logistics business association in Central Asia” was launched in Uzbekistan. The European Commission finances the project.

The project is implemented by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (Bulgaria) in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Association for Development of Business Logistics (Uzbekistan), the Association of International Road Carriers of Turkmenistan (THADA) and the Association of stevedoring companies in Latvia.

The project will be implemented in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan within 36 months (2017-2019).

The project is aimed at supporting businesses in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, business association and enterprises of small and medium businesses in organization of logistics supplies, storage and distribution of goods, etc.
