Denis Istomin to face world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in London

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin will play against World No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the third round of AEGON Championships, which is taking place in London.

Today, Uzbekistan No. 1 faced Jamaica’s Dustin Brown. Denis Istomin claimed the first set in tie-break – 7/6 (9/7).

In the second set, Denis Istomin made a break once, which was enough for Uzbekistani to win the match.

In next round, Denis Istomin will play against Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who outplayed Brazilian Markos Daniel in straight sets 6/2 and 6/2. This will be the first match between the two.
