Denis Istomin loses to Guillaume Rufin

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin could not advance to the second round of the ATP Winston-Salem Open (United States) with the prize fund of US$575,000.

In the first round Istomin lost to Guillaume Rufin of France with the score 4:6, 6:3 and 3:6. The match lasted almost two hours.

Denis Istomin served 12 aces against 11 of his opponent. Istomin committed three double faults and won one break point. Rufin recorded one double fault and two break points.
