Denis Istomin beats Guillermo García-López in Eastbourne

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin reached quarterfinals of Aegon International in Eastbourne, Great Britain.

In the second round, Denis Istomin defeated world number 31 Guillermo García-López from Spain in straight sets 6/2 and 7/5.

The match lasted an hour and 28 minutes. Istomin broke his opponent four times, while Spaniard recorded only one break point.

Istomin served eight aces and committed one double fault. Guillermo García-López registered five aces and five double faults.

Denis Istomin will face Edouard Roger-Vasselin from France in the quarterfinals.
