Denis Istomin advances to semifinals of Aegon International

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the semifinals of the of Aegon International in Eastbourne, Great Britain.

In the quarterfinals, Istomin outplayed Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France in straight sets - 7/6(5), 6/2.

The match lasted an hour and 16 minutes. Denis Istomin broke his opponent three times, served four aces and committed double faults.

Edouard Roger-Vasselin, in his turn, recorded one break point, two aces and two double faults during the match.

Denis Istomin will face Richard Gasquet of France in the semifinals of the tournament.
