Delegation of Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan visits China
The Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan Ikhtiyor Abdullaev held negotiations with Prosecutor-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China Cao Jianming.
The sides discussed current affairs and perspectives of cooperation between prosecutors of two states. They also exchange opinion on ongoing reforms in two states.
The Chinese side was informed on measures adopted to modernize state and public management in Uzbekistan, create conditions for development of businesses and strengthen social protection of people.
The sides underlined importance of joint efforts in fighting crime, protecting rights and freedoms of the citizens, as well as strengthening rule of law.
After negotiations, the representatives of two states signed a programme on cooperation between the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan and People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China for 2017-2018.
Higher Training Courses of the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan and the State Institute of prosecutors of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The Uzbek delegation also visited the National Institute of prosecutors of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China, and got acquainted with the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office for the Protection of Shanghai business, fight against corruption and implementation of information and communication technologies.
