Delegation of Colombia pays visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation of the Republic of Colombia, consisting of vice-minister of foreign affairs Patti Londoño-Jaramillo and deputy minister of trade, industry and tourism Gabriel Duque on 11 October 2012.

The parties welcomed the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on 2 October 2012, which open new opportunities for developing Uzbek-Colombian cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

They also exchanged views on prospective directions of interaction in political-diplomatic, commercial, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas.
