Chairman of Eastern Committee of German Economy meets with head of Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting Governor of Tashkent city Jahongir Artikhodjaev received the Executive Director of Mangold Consulting Professor, Dr. Klaus Mangold, who is currently the chairman of the Eastern Committee of German economy, the press service of the Tashkent city administration said.

At the meeting, Tashkent’s khokim and Klaus Mangold expressed their confidence that the visit would also allow them to reach certain mutually beneficial agreements that would contribute to the development of Uzbek-German relations.

The Eastern Committee, created in 1952, has the greatest traditions among initiatives to improve the working conditions of German companies in Eastern and Southern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. One of the priorities is the support of medium-sized businesses.
