Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Chairwoman of the Committee on Family and Women Dilnoza Kattakhanova held a meeting with Ricardo Hausmann, founder and director of the Harvard Growth Lab center.

The main topic of the talks was expanding women's economic opportunities and developing cooperation in this field.

During the meeting, the sides discussed modern approaches to providing sustainable sources of income for women, identifying sectors with high potential for growth in female employment, and conducting a comprehensive analysis of factors restricting women's participation in economic activity.

Special attention was paid to expanding women's participation in state and public administration.

Participants in the meeting reviewed proposals for the further development of the Women's Leadership Academy and its formation as an international-level educational platform using advanced foreign experience and modern training programs.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on developing a data-driven national strategy in the discussed areas, as well as creating practical mechanisms for further cooperation.
