Central Bank of Uzbekistan keeps refinancing rate at 14% APR

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan kept the refinancing rate at the level of 14% APR, the regulator said on 7 December.

The bank said the Board of the Central Bank adopted a corresponding resolution on 13 November 2010 in line with the Law “On Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The bank underlined that the refinancing rate of the Central Bank was not changed due to main monetary policy for 2010, as well as actual and expected inflation rate, the regulator said.
