Khayrulla Bozarov addresses youth peacemakers seminar
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Speaking at the international seminar "Cross-Border Initiative of Young Peacemakers," which brought together youth representatives from the border regions of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, Khokim of Ferghana Region Khayrulla Bozarov noted that youth today are the main driving force for strengthening trust and building a common future in the region.
He recalled that this initiative is a direct continuation of the efforts initiated during the first Ferghana Peace Forum, which took place on 15–16 October 2025. The first forum, which became an important international platform on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, laid the foundation for the formation of a single space of friendship and good neighborliness.
The khokim emphasized that today the seminar participants, most of whom were present at the October forum, are continuing the implementation of the ambitious tasks set there at a high level.
According to Bozarov, the meeting is given a special symbolism by the fact that it is taking place within the framework of Youth Month in Uzbekistan. During this time, hundreds of events are being implemented across the country, from startup forums to cultural actions, designed to unlock the potential of the new generation.
Ferghana Region is actively integrating the international seminar into this large-scale nationwide agenda, presenting young peacemakers as part of a large process of renewal.
Khayrulla Bozarov separately highlighted the holding of the seminar at Ferghana State University, indicating that it is precisely within the educational and scientific environment that a culture of peace is formed.
He focused attention on the fact that the Ferghana Valley is a region with colossal potential, and any initiatives to strengthen trust here are a strategic investment in the stability of all Central Asia.
In conclusion, the khokim expressed confidence that the ideas developed by the young peacemakers will bring youth cooperation in the region to a new level.
Bozarov assured that the regional administration will continue to fully support the dialogue, which transforms border areas from zones of disagreement into a space of sustainable development and friendship.
