“Car Free Day” to be held every last Wednesday of the month

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A “Car-Free Day” will be held in Tashkent every last Wednesday of the month.

This decision was made by the Government of Uzbekistan.

If the last Wednesday falls on a holiday, the event will be moved to Thursday.

Managers and other employees of all republican institutions and executive authorities whose buildings are located in Tashkent are instructed to set a personal example by using public transport to visit the workplace.
